Planning & Consultation
Prior preparation is key to success of any data project.
Before creating any new data processes (ingestion, processing, analysis, and reporting), we must understand the strengths and limitations of existing systems and the goals and objectives of the replacement system.
Together we will investigate the timescales, budgets, governance and security implications, and any techological constraints, so we can plan how to implement the system in a timely and cost effective manner, including phasing out (or parallel running) of any legacy systems.

Third party integrations
A holistic view of your organisation’s data cannot be achieved via the analytics provided within each system, and this is where frameworks like Fabric shine brightly, by taking feeds from systems like CRM platforms, Bloomberg, and logging frameworks.
I have built event-driven processes for Azure integration using Event Grid, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Power Automate , Fabic and many others to enable modular, safe, and reliable integrations between applications that wouldn’t natively talk to one another.
Technologies and skills
My preferred technologies are Microsoft Fabric and Azure services, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, DevOps, Power BI, and modern development frameworks such as .NET Core, Python, T-SQL, and Power Query.
