Really Good Domains (RGD) is the group name for the company that operates leasing.com, a website that assists businesses and private individuals with their search for a vehicle leasing deal.
Essentially a vehicle leasing search engine; RGD have several back-end systems for managing their data and were undergoing a large project to update their business model. During this change, they wanted to be able to monitor, analyse and report on how the changes were affecting their success and business productivity.
Key achievements
- Jointly developed a CQRS based messaging system for pushing data to a reporting engine storage system.
- Processed the JSON data in SQL Server to present to Power BI
- Created reporting and analysis system using Power BI
- Automated data processing using Microsoft Azure
- Developed a highly-efficient process for moving and storing large amounts of data across disparate systems
